Blue is also working again with Blue October, a Texas indie-rock quintet based in Houston. Their last CD, Consent To Treatment, was released by Universal, with production by Blue (among others). New material is being developed and recorded with Blue for a new CD.  Blue also narrated the opening of Blue October’s “Consent To Treatment”.

In 2000, Blue had a song, sung by a then-unknown India Arie, in a major motion picture. An acid-drenched satire about the state of blacks in network television today, Bamboozled embraced bad taste in an effort to get across a larger, much more troubling point. Director Spike Lee chose to include an India Arie/Blue Miller song entitled In My Head.
